Women's Sailing Conference
Description
This one-day, on-land, women's sailing conference runs from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at the Hudson River Maritime Museum's Wooden Boat School in Kingston, NY. The conference allows participants to choose four options from a dozen hands-on and classroom workshops. Learn about safety around large vessels, navigation, maritime communications, outboard motor troubleshooting, marine electrical systems, sail care, race management, the racing rules of sailing, and more!
An optional welcome dinner with our keynote presenter, Dawn Riley, Executive Director of Oakcliff Sailing Center, is available on Friday evening, November 6. There is also a post-conference "Pizza and a Movie," event featuring the inspiring documentary "Maiden" on Saturday, November 7. The conference fee includes a light breakfast, hearty lunch and all workshops for beginner, intermediate and advanced sailors. Participants will sign up for specific workshops at check-in on November 7.
Please register as early as possible. We can only accommodate 75 participants.

Conference participants from out of town can receive a reduced rate of $109 per night per room at the Kingston Best Western hotel. Each room includes two queen beds. Reduced Hotel Rate
