Wooden Tissue Box

05/22/2021 09:30 AM - 04:00 PM ET

Description

Using mitered spline construction you will build solid wood box sides then cut and shape the top and attach it with dado joinery. This simple and clean design will spruce up any tissue box. Come spend the day down by the Rondouut Creek learning woodworking at the Hudson River Maritime Museum Wooden Boat School. This class is perfect for the beginner woodworker or even for someone with no woodworking experience at all. Instructor Wayne will walk you through every step of the process and teach you how to use all the tools involved. At the end of the day you will bring you box home to put to use.

Please contact John Phelan, Wooden Boat School Coordinator, at jphelan@hrmm.org with any questions.
