Basics of Woodworking for Kids

Designed for youth age 10 - 17, this 6 week series will introduce students to the basics of woodworking and carpentry. Each 1.5 hour class will employ shop safety, measuring, layout,joinery, and tool use and care. Each class will introduce additional tools and their application. As classes progress so will the construction of each student's toolbox that they will take home at the end of the class.
