Sailing: Adult Keelboat Spinnaker, Sept. 15, 2021, 11:30 am - 3:30 pm

This 4-hour course is designed for students who have mastered the skills in U.S. Basic Keelboat or its equivalent. The focus is on skills involved in raising, flying, gybing, and dousing the spinnaker on a Merit 25 and a J24. It will cover how to prepare for keelboat racing including starts, mark roundings, and finishes.

$85 Tuition, $80 individual member, $75 household membership.

Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be offered for cancellations that occur 30 days or more before a program's registration deadline (if no deadline, the first day of the program). Cancellations between 30 and 7 days will be offered a 50% refund or credit toward another class. Cancellations after the registration deadline or within 7 days of the first day of class (whichever comes first!) will not be refunded.

Weather Cancellation: Generally, the Sailing School does not cancel classes. However, we stay ashore if conditions are dangerous, i.e. squall or thunder and lightning. In the event of dangerous weather conditions, please check your email two hours before class for a possible postponement.  In case of dangerous weather, for single-session classes, we will postpone the class and set a make-up date.
