Intro to Joinery: Make a Tool Box
Description
In this class you will build your own tool box using dovetail joints, with dado cuts for the bottom of the box. Using joinery rather than fasteners provides strength and sturdiness to produce a long-lasting box. You'll then finish with your own details on the ends and the handle--which you can shape with a spokeshave and plane--and install the handle with a through-mortise joint. You will have the opportunity to cut the joints both by machine and by hand to give you a feel for both methods.
